BOOKING CONDITIONS for 35 Siestamar II

  1. The Contract. ( Correct as of 1.1.2004)
    The following conditions form the basis of your contract with Miss F Mawdesley.
    Your contract is made once you have

    (I) Completed and signed the booking form
    (ii) Provided the appropriate deposit £100per booking as specified on your
    booking form: and
    (iii) Miss Mawdesley has confirmed with you the booking.
  2. The Payment.
    The appropriate deposit is required as shown on the booking form, and the
    balance of the monies due 7 weeks prior to departure. In the case of
    bookings made less than seven weeks prior to departure, full payment must
    accompany the completed booking form. If payment is not received within this
    timescale Miss Mawdesley reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the
    charges as set out in paragraph 5. Damage And Security deposit of £150 is
    required on payment of balance. This will be refunded on return of keys and
    confirmation from agents that properties are satisfactory. (Usually within 1
    week of return)
  3. Price Guarantee.
    The price given to you by Miss Mawdesley remains fixed and is not subject to
    change.
  4. Insurance.
    As a material condition of your booking you must have adequate holiday
    insurance cover to cover medical, injury, personal property and cancellation
    charges.
  5. Cancellation by You
    You may cancel your booking if you wish in which case written notification
    must be given to Miss Mawdesley by the person who signed the booking form. The
    date of cancellation will be the date Miss Mawdesley receives the cancellation
    notice. In the event of cancellation by you the following charges will be
    payable by you:
    Period before departure Cancellation Fee % of total rental cost

    More than 57 days Deposit only
    56- 29 days 50%
    28 - 15 days 75%
    14 - 1 days 100%
    Cancellation fees excluding deposit and expenses will be waived if Miss Mawdesley
    is able to let the villa/apts to another party prior to arranged departure date.
  6. Change Over.
    All guests are requested to vacate the property on day of departure by
    10.00am. This will enable the maids to clean the apartment prior to occupation by
    the new guests. Occupation is available from 2.00pm. Guests not leaving the
    property on time may forfeit part or all damage deposit.
  7. Linen/Maid Service
    The villa/apts contains all linen and bath/hand towels, and guests are
    requested not to take the towels to the beach. Parasols are available in the
    villa to take to the beach together with buckets/spades etc. All items in
    the villa are available for use by the guests. The maids will visit the
    villa once a week to change over of linen. You will be advised of the actual
    day in the villa instructions. Guests are requested to put all dirty linen
    in a wrapped sheet on the patio for collection by 10.00am on change over
    day.
  8. Managing Agents
    The maintenance agents for the apartment can be contacted by phone, details are
    in the information file available in the villas, any problems with the
    properties must be reported to them and they will arrange to have the
    problem rectified.
  9. Gas Supply.
    The cooker and water heaters are supplied by bottled gas, there is a spare
    canister in the gas store, and guests are requested to inform the agents who
    will arrange speedy replacement.
  10. Children.
    Guests are reminded that small children will need to be supervised while in
    the swimming pool.
    Please do not let young children swim unsupervised. Miss Mawdesley accept no responsibility for injury to any person using the properties however caused. The floor tiles become very slippy with wet feet, please be advised.
  11. Damages
    It would assist greatly if any accidental breakages are reported to agents
    and replaced by the guests. Replacements can be obtained from local
    supermarkets etc.or from Mahon. Any guest causing wilful / malicious or
    negligent damage will be charged for replacement by Miss Mawdesley. Damage
    deposit will be returned on advice from agents of no major or negligent
    damage.
  12. Cleaning
    The properties will be cleaned before you arrive and the beds should be made
    up. One of the reasons why we are able to offer low prices for the
    properties is that we want you to treat it them as you homes, and do not
    expect huge staff bills. . You are expected to clean the properties as you
    would your home! If the maids on change over have to spend extra time
    cleaning up your mess! you will be charged out of the security deposit.
  13. General information File.
    In the villa/apts is a file containing all the information you need about
    the resort and places to go. It also contains information on items in the
    properties, and who to contact in emergencies.

Miss Mawdesley hopes you enjoy your stay and have a happy holiday, please
remember these are our family homes, and look after it as your own. If you
have any adverse comments about the villa/apartments please let Miss Mawdelsey
know. I will not be offended. It is not my wish for guests to feel there are
shortcomings in the properties.
