The bay of Calan Porter is one of the safest on the island for children as
there is no undercurrent. This urbanisation was the very first to be
developed on Menorca because of the attractions of the beach. Today there
are plenty of restaurants and bars for visitors to choose from. Calan Porter
also boasts the Caves of Xoroi, open for viewing by day and as a disco by
night.
A train operates during the day and evening and runs from the centre to the beach and Caves of Xoroi.
